The Madison Industrial Group (MIG) is pleased to announce that Gary Reid will be joining MIG as the President & CEO on October 1, 2024.

Gary joins MIG with over 30 years of experience in the Energy sector, as well as various other heavy industries. Gary has worked for the Board of Hyperion Sensors Inc., Eaton Corporation, Siemens and, most recently, ABB.

During his career, Gary has worked in several executive leadership roles, overseeing businesses in Canada, US, and Mexico. These roles include Vice President & General Manager, Construction Business Unit for Siemens, and the Vice President & General Manager, System Drives North America for ABB. Throughout his career, he has successfully led the turnaround and profitable growth of several businesses, each with extensive portfolios including manufacturing and assembly facilities, while maintaining a focus on energy & automation.

Gary holds an MBA from Athabasca University, Electronics Engineering Certification from DeVry University and Executive Leadership Certification from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business. He also sits on the Board of Directors for several non-profit youth development organizations.

Dino Di Marco has served as the MIG President & CEO for the last two years. Dino will now take on the role of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for the Madison Group.

Over the last two years Dino has done an excellent job leading the MIG team. Under his leadership he has focused on developing a strategic vision for MIG based on a culture of collaboration and teamwork as well as a high performing team focused on profitable growth, providing career and development opportunities for our people, and giving back to our communities.

August 31, 2024 – Regina, Saskatchewan – The Madison Industrial Group (“Madison”) and Stockdales Electric Motor Corporation (“Stockdales”) are pleased to announce that Madison has acquired Stockdale Family’s interest in Stockdales Electric Motor Corporation and the Stockdales Industrial Group (the “Acquisition”). Stockdales is now wholly owned by Madison.

This Acquisition represents the next step in a long-term partnership between Madison and the Stockdale Family and will enable Stockdales to support customers in broader geographic regions with a wider array of engineered products and solutions. Madison Industrial Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Campbell to the General Manager role for Armature Electric Limited (AEL). As General Manager, Matthew will oversee the AEL Business unit.

Matthew joined AEL in early 2023 as the Business Operations Manager, a position in which he has excelled at. Prior to Joining AEL Matthew held progressive leadership roles over the last 18 years.

Roles from Production Lead to Manufacturing Manager, having worked for companies such as CWS Industries and Stanley Black & Decker. Matthew holds a diploma in operational management from BCIT and is a Journeyman Machinist Red Seal. Matthew is enrolled in BCIT’s continued education program as he nears the completion of a Bachelor of Administration Degree.

AEL is a very key business unit within the MIG-ES portfolio. With Matthew’s appointment to GM, combined with the existing and very competent operations and sales leadership team, AEL is well-positioned for growth and success.

Madison Industrial Group is pleased to announce that Peter Rees has been appointed to the role of President of Arrow Speed Controls, effective August 26, 2024. Peter will be joining the current leadership team at Arrow to support the company through its next period of growth.

Peter has worked with the Madison Group for the past five years and has over 20 years of business experience in executive, financial, M&A, and commercial roles. Before this appointment, Peter held the position of Vice President of Business and Corporate Development within the Madison Group, supporting our business’ commercial strategy with a focus on our Industrial Automation Group, leading business acquisitions and divestitures, and maintaining key relationships with our strategic partners.

Prior to joining the Madison Group, Peter spent 15 years in the mining industry, during which he was the Chief Financial Officer for several publicly listed international mining companies. Peter has had the opportunity to work extensively overseas, including at mine sites and development projects in West Africa, Mexico, Peru, Northern Ontario, and the high Arctic.

Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University, is a CPA and alumni of the international consulting firm of Deloitte.
